Brause Realty traces its roots to a 1920s-era stationery store operated by Jack and Samuel Brause. After acquiring the 125th Street building housing that business, the brothers changed course to real estate—a decision that transformed the venture into what is now a leading real estate investment firm in the New York region, in its third generation of Brause family leadership. The site of the Lotus was purchased by Brause Realty in 1942, and its new redevelopment of the property reflects company principles of innovation, long-term value, and deep collaboration. CetraRuddy
Founded by architect John Cetra and interior designer Nancy J. Ruddy in 1987, CetraRuddy today comprises approximately 180 people and works across the United States and globally.
